Can I take an in person tour?

Yes. The way the properties are initially shown are with the gallery of photos. Each property also has it’s own video walkthrough. If the future “Dashpader” would still like an in person walkthrough, they are matched up with a willing current tenant at a convenient time for both, to get a walkthrough and see the place in person. Message or text anytime to start the process. Links for galleries and video walkthroughs are below.

All male location gallery, all female location gallery, all male location video walkthrough, all female location video walkthrough.

Is parking offered or included?

Parking is offered but not included in the price. There are 2 designated parking spots for each unit that can be assigned to a tenant for a small additional fee. If a parking slot is available, the additional fee can be paid with monthly rent. As a note, most tenants do not have a car as it is convenient and close enough to the airport to not need one.

How many people and beds per room?

In all of the units, there is a max of 5 beds in a room and most are max 4 beds. We do not cram bunks into rooms! We like to keep the space comfortable, spread out enough, and spacious so everybody can enjoy their time while being in the pad. Typically there are only a couple people at the pad at the same time, and sometimes you will be the only person staying.

Where is the location from the airport and how long does it take to get to the pad?

The pads are about as close as you can get to the airport without being on an airplane, yet the trees and other buildings block any of the airport noise from being heard at the places. Most all of the tenants walk from the airport and it’s about a 10-15 walk which is perfect for timing a show time. There are also other options to get to the pad such as the Marriott shuttle and the 156 bus line which comes very frequently and drops off right in front of the pads.

Is there a minimum or maximum stay at the pad?

Typically there is a 2 month minimum stay as we like to create a comfortable place for everybody to be. The best compliment is for a guest to say the love the place and are so happy they’ve found a place to stay for their commute for the long term. Less than 2 months causes a bit more traffic and different faces through the pad but considerations will always be made depending on certain situations.

How is payment taken?

Payment is easy and all done online. Most pay through Venmo but other options are available such as Cash app and Zelle. We’ll work with whatever suggestions you have.

Is there space to store anything in the pad?

Storage is limited but yes it is available. We say “don’t move in” but bring anything you might need to make your stay more comfortable. All of the closet space and under your bed space is first come first serve but one of the main rules of the Dashpads is to respect others and their space. Leave room for others belongings and be respectful of their stuff. Kitchen cabinet space and fridge space is also first come first serve and the same rules apply, don’t hog it all!

Will you prorate if I move in mid month?

Definitely. If you have a situation that requires you to move in mid month, that can be prorated. Dashpads also requires 30 days notice on move out and since rent is due the 1st of the month, prorated amounts will be allowed on move out as well.

How many days per month are permitted and can this be my permanent residence?

There’s not minimum or maximum amount of days allowed but what is required is for you to be a commuting crewmember for an airline. As long as you have another place to fly home to on your off days, this will be a great fit for you. This should not be your permanent residence and is not meant for that situation. Certain situations might not allow for a commute home such as one day off between reserve blocks of days and that is understandable. As long as you are making an effort to not stay at the pad full time, and you have a typical airline schedule, you will be a great fit.

Is there a deposit required?

Yes and that deposit is $100. That deposit money goes towards your first months rent so it is never held. The deposit will secure you a spot in the pad.

Are any of the pads co-ed?

As of now there are no co-ed Dashpads.

Is laundry available?

Yes, laundry is available. Some units have a washer and dryer in unit and others are a very close location with a convenient card operated facility.

Hot beds or Cold beds?

All locations are cold bed situations which means your own bed. You will never share a bed and that bed will be yours for the entirety of your stay unless at some point you would like to switch to a different bed location.

Who is allowed to stay at the pad?

Commuting In-Flight Crewmembers (Pilots and Flight Attendants). As long as you have a normal airline schedule, line holder or reserve, you will be a great fit. Training employees will take special consideration for the length of stay. Typically we do not have anybody who would require a nightly stay at the pad based on a Monday-Thursday or Friday schedule staying at the pad.

Can I have friends over to the pad?

Friends are fun! But, out of respect for other tenants, only those who pay rent are permitted on the premises.
